The Haunted Swordsman soundtrack release

Described as a ‘puppet horror film’, The Haunted Swordsman is the third film by master practical effects artist and director Kevin McTurk. It follows the story of a Swordsman (Jason Scott Lee) avenging the murder of his shogun with the aid of his trusty companion, a severed head (James Hong). Also staring Franka Potente as the Onibaba Witch and Christoper Lloyd as the Black Monk. The stunning puppets were designed, sculpted, painted and puppeteered by some of the best artists in the film effects business.

Will Thomas used a wide variety of instruments to create the creepy Japanese tinged score including an old Koto, Shakuhachi flute, Dhol drums, cello and modular synth.
